Physical Security & Front Line Protection

PHYSICAL SECURITY SYSTEMS

Physical security is the front line in protecting people, property, and infrastructure from threats ranging from unauthorized access and theft to workplace violence and terrorism. As facilities face increasing risks—whether commercial offices, campuses, retail centers, or government buildings—Centremis delivers comprehensive physical security solutions that combine engineered barriers, procedural controls, and proven best practices. Every project integrates assessments, layered protective design, and professional response protocols to ensure that physical defenses are robust, adaptive, and resilient.

View of Services

Centremis provides full-spectrum consulting, planning, and implementation for commercial and government clients, including:

  • Comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments of property perimeters, entry points, and internal spaces.
  • Design and deployment of perimeter security (fencing, barriers, gates, anti-ram solutions) tailored to threat profile and facility needs.
  • Implementation of secure access points – staffed entry, visitor management, physical access credentialing, and screening procedures, fully aligned with ICAM and PACS best practices.
  • Integration of forced-entry and ballistic-resistant materials (security glazing, reinforced doors/windows) for critical areas and ground-floor vulnerabilities.
  • Deployment of layered interior protections including mechanical and electronic locks, security doors, alarmed zones, and secure storage for high-value assets.
  • Emergency and life-safety systems: panic buttons, emergency egress planning, safe rooms, and mass notification integration for all-hazards preparedness.
  • Systematic integration of physical and electronic security layers, enabling fast response, investigative support, and audit-ready documentation.

Design layered approach security programs for K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Aviation, Stadium/Entertainment, Commercial Real Estate, Tech, Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure, BioPharma, Finance, and many other markets.

  • Perform Security Assessments, including current state site surveys to identify vulnerabilities associated with buildings, facilities, campuses, and the encompassing property.
  • Provide comprehensive reports which include current state and deficiency, along with recommendations on hardening the facility based on the end user’s requirements utilizing the industry’s best practices.
  • Assist with guidance and selection of door hardware (mechanical and electronic) followed by the generation and coordination of door hardware and electronic security specifications for new construction, renovations, and security hardening projects.
  • Generate, incorporate, and apply unique smart tags utilizing a password protected QR code unique to each opening that libraries all pertinent information on and around the door.
  • Provide guidance on perimeter security measures including fences, bollards, barriers, and other vehicle ram mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance on specialty openings and associated assemblies, including attack and forced entry, blast and ballistic rated, windstorm and flood rated, sustainable openings, medical and hazardous material, STC acoustic, and openings with EMI/RFI shielding.
  • Provide guidance on security speed gates, optical turnstiles, security revolving doors, and other aspects to increase the security measures of the building envelope and immediate lobby entrances.
